Misguided Ideas

Posted on Wednesday 17 May 2006

Returning from Logan last night, I took the Silver line bus for the first time. Verdict: nifty tunnels, but slow - for no good reason. I know it’s all the rage in urban planning circles to have revisionist takes on transit and argue that buses are superior to rail outside of New York. Those people need to take the Silver line from the Airport. Then take the Blue line.

Loyal readers will also be interested to know that Boston wouldn’t be the only city with a cheesy Walk of Fame. Why, St. Louis has one, too. Sadly, no tourists were around to admire it - where’s the love for David Sanborn?
