I’m all for people having their dreams, but color me unconvinced that a tapas restaurant in the lower South End will have "Hispanics, blacks, gays, yuppies, suburbanites all socializing" together. Or rather, there seems to be some foodie medium-is-the-message fallacy here, namely that "the point of tapas is to socialize over interestingly flavored morsels" and that having informal fare will create informal social bonds.
