Political Donations in Boston

I’ve had a busy day, so not time for a proper post, but via Kevin Drum’s new blog, I came across a nifty website that maps political donations by geographical location and allows you to search a given address and ZIP. The above is a detail from the Boston map.

No surprises really: my neighborhood is highly, almost exclusively, Democratic in its presidential political donations. And it’s interesting to see how donations fall off sharply once you get outside the Downtown-Cambridge-Brookline Triangle, with Roxbury, Southie and Allston/Brighton showing little involvement in the money race.
